Silver A' Design Award Winner 2022
This presentation features a luxury perfume bottle arrangement photographed against a deep charcoal gray background that recedes into apparent infinity. Scanning from the back forward, the composition establishes depth through a tiered display system of matte black cylindrical pedestals positioned at center. Upon these pedestals rests the primary subject: an ornate perfume bottle approximately occupying the central vertical third of the frame. The bottle's cap is an elaborate golden dome structure, warm as burnished sunset, featuring intricate raised decorative patterns including what appear to be classical figures and architectural details. A thin golden spire extends upward from the cap's apex like a ceremonial finial. Below the cap, the transparent glass body reveals liquid contents graduating in color from deep reddish-brown at the bottom, reminiscent of aged mahogany wood, through amber tones like wildflower honey, becoming lighter and more golden toward the top where light penetrates most intensely. The word appearing on the bottle reads in elegant serif letters. To the left of center stands a sculptural object combining two forms: a tall slender-necked black vessel with a matte surface smooth as river stone, and nested against it, a second form in pale gold with a brushed metallic finish featuring an organic teardrop-shaped opening. To the right stands a bulbous gourd-shaped vase in matching matte black, its surface absorbing light completely. From this vessel emerge dried botanical branches in warm wheat and pale ochre colors, their delicate stems reaching upward and rightward, creating organic movement against the geometric stillness. The lighting arrives from the upper left, creating warm golden highlights on the metalwork while leaving the black surfaces in deep shadow. The overall atmosphere suggests quiet contemplation within a space that feels both ancient and timelessly modern.
The magnetic dome on the top of the bottle is the exact dome from the Sakakini Palace with its glorious rococo features as the intent is to remind people of the beauty of this abandoned building in a touchable way. The task was to create a luxurious and sophisticated product, package, and brand. It will promote Egypt's forgotten architecture and help save this rich heritage through the profits of the sales.
