Chalets Dada Residential Building

A contemporary residential building stands within an expansive green meadow, viewed from a distance that reveals the full architectural composition against a dramatic mountain landscape beneath a vast sky. The structure presents as a series of interconnected volumes with distinctive peaked rooflines resembling traditional chalets, rising approximately two to three stories in height, spanning roughly one-third the width of the scene positioned slightly left of center. The building combines materials creating rich visual texture: warm honey-colored wood arranged in vertical slats forms prominent screening elements on the left and right ends, while the central portions feature smooth gray panels suggesting metal or composite cladding, and a rough gray-brown stone base anchors the structure to the earth. Expansive windows punctuate the facades as large rectangular openings, their glass surfaces appearing as dark voids or catching ambient light, suggesting transparent connection between interior spaces and the surrounding landscape. The foreground presents a gentle meadow of soft green grass with scattered natural boulders in gray-brown tones, where small human figures suggest family activity with adults and children at play near the left side. Mature deciduous trees frame both sides of the composition, their foliage displaying autumn colors ranging from deep green to warm golden amber on the left and softer yellow-green on the right. Beyond the building, the landscape recedes through successive planes of green terrain toward distant mountain ranges rendered in soft blue-gray tones with snow-capped peaks catching gentle light. The basic geometrical design was inspired by a child's scribbling when he was asked to create a house. A play between solids, voids and materials was experimented in order to have the final result Located in the high highlands of Lebanon's Faraya Resorts, Chalets Dada exemplify beauty and luxury. The composition is built on the foundation of a ground level hosting one large apartment bordered by a flower garden. Two unusual duplexes are stoned with Terrazzo on the first and attic floors.
