See the Unseen Immersive Ephemeral Art Exhibition

Scanning this immersive installation from the overall environment inward, listeners encounter a completely red-saturated space where fabric forms the primary material of both architecture and sculpture. The ceiling stretches overhead as a translucent membrane, warm like light passing through rose petals, composed of stretched fabric panels supported by a geometric grid structure that creates rectangular segments across the canopy. This membrane glows with diffused illumination, the temperature suggesting warm afternoon sunlight filtered through colored glass, creating an ambient luminosity that suffuses the entire space with coral and salmon warmth. Moving downward and into the foreground, large sculptural masses of gathered fabric occupy the floor plane, their surfaces presenting deep folds and complex undulations like crumpled silk or gathered velvet. The fabric texture appears smooth yet dramatically sculpted, creating valleys of deep crimson shadow and ridges catching the warm light with almost metallic highlight. To the left foreground, a substantial fabric mass rises perhaps to shoulder height, its gathered folds creating a form suggestive of draped classical sculpture or geological formation. In the middle distance, another sculptural accumulation presents a more dynamic, unfurling quality, as though caught mid-motion in its arrangement. The floor itself appears covered in the same red fabric, slightly rumpled and extending toward the glowing background where the space opens into atmospheric depth. As the Lunar New Year approaches while most embrace a visible dragon design, the team aim to create a memorable dragon experience that elevates visitors' imagination and memory of the hidden dragon. By partnering with Penique Productions for Taikoo Hui Mall’s CNY, it integrated artistic techniques and mediums to make the dragon elusive with red recyclable film to craft a glass box, this reimagined space offers a sense of elusive presence that enhances the visitor's immersion into the concept of the dragon, aiming to bring new year blessings them in the newly redefined space of the mall.
