Golden A' Design Award Winner 2025
Within a vast performance environment suggesting cosmic depth, a single performer stands elevated on a tall transparent pyramidal structure that rises from the lower portion of the frame, this platform appearing constructed from clear glass or acrylic materials that catch and refract surrounding light, creating luminous linear edges and subtle internal reflections, its geometric form reading as a elongated pyramid or cone perhaps twelve to fifteen feet in height with the performer positioned at its apex on a circular platform approximately four feet in diameter. The performer herself appears as a female figure of average height and slender build, standing in a relaxed yet focused posture with her weight shifted slightly onto one leg, her right arm raised to hold a microphone close to her face in the universal gesture of vocal performance, her left arm relaxed at her side, her dark hair falling to shoulder length, her costume consisting of a dark sleeveless top and short bottom combination that reads as black or very deep charcoal gray, creating strong silhouette definition against the surrounding illumination, while from her waist or hips flows an extraordinary volume of translucent pale fabric, this material cascading downward in vertical folds that catch light and appear ice-blue or pale aqua where illumination passes through them, these gauzy panels extending down the full height of the pyramidal platform structure, creating the impression of a waterfall of light-catching material or perhaps an enormous ethereal skirt or train that emphasizes verticality and creates soft visual connection between the performer and the geometric structure supporting her. Moving into the surrounding environment, to the right of the performer and occupying the right half of the composition appears a massive crescent-shaped sculptural element, this monumental form suggesting a curved section of sphere or torus, its scale reading as perhaps twenty-five to thirty feet in diameter if completing a full circle, though only the crescent segment is visible, its curved surface smooth and continuous, the concave interior facing left and rendered in deep shadow that reads as cool blue-gray or slate, while the convex exterior edge facing right glows with soft internal illumination creating gradations from deeper blue through pale cream-yellow to warm ivory and hints of golden amber where light appears strongest, this enormous curved form appearing to float in the surrounding space without visible support, its positioning placing it somewhat behind the performer in spatial depth but reading as related to her placement through careful compositional alignment, as though she performs before or emerges from this cosmic element. The surrounding environment extends in all directions as deep atmospheric blue, this field varying from rich indigo and midnight blue in the darkest areas to slightly lighter royal or Prussian blue where ambient illumination penetrates, throughout this expansive darkness are scattered dozens of brilliant white points of light of varying sizes, some appearing as sharp pinpoint stars while others read as slightly larger luminous circles or spheres suggesting suspended lights or distant illumination sources, these light points distributed across the entire visible space but appearing to increase in density and decrease in individual size toward the background, creating depth recession through atmospheric perspective, their pattern reading as organic and constellation-like rather than geometric or organized, suggesting either actual celestial stars if the environment references outer space or carefully positioned theatrical lighting elements designed to evoke cosmic vastness, the overall effect creating the sensation of looking into deep space or into a vast darkened theatre with atmospheric haze revealing scattered light sources. The lighting throughout appears theatrical and carefully controlled: strong illumination from below renders the transparent platform structure visible and creates the dramatic uplighting on the performer that defines her silhouette, additional spotlighting likely originates from above and possibly from the sides to create the modeling and definition on the performer's figure and the cascading fabric elements, while the crescent element appears to possess internal illumination or to be precisely lit from concealed sources that create its luminous presence, the overall lighting quality reading as professional theatrical production lighting with the characteristic sharp-edged focus and calibrated intensity associated with concert and performance environments, the atmospheric haze or fog visible throughout the space catching and revealing light beams and creating the volumetric quality that makes the surrounding darkness feel substantial and dimensional rather than flat. In terms of color temperature, the dominant blues throughout read as cool like evening or night sky or deep water, while the crescent element's illuminated edge provides warm contrast suggesting candlelight or warm incandescent light approximately 2700-3000K, creating essential chromatic variety that prevents visual monotony, the white light points reading as neutral to slightly cool like daylight or theatrical tungsten supplemented with blue correction. The overall spatial impression suggests being simultaneously within an intimate focused performance space where attention concentrates on the solitary performer, and within a vast cosmic environment of unlimited depth, this dual reading achieved through the contrast between the clearly defined foreground figure and structure against the deep atmospheric background, through the scale relationship between human figure and monumental crescent element, and through the scattered light points that suggest infinite spatial extension, the transparent quality of the support structure creating interesting ambiguity about solid ground versus suspension in space, as though the performer floats within this cosmic environment held aloft by crystalline geometry, her flowing translucent garment further enhancing the sensation of weightlessness and ethereal presence, while her focused gesture with the microphone anchors the image in the concrete reality of performance and human voice, creating rich tension between earthly artistic labor and transcendent spatial context.
Accusefive opened their Super Live Tour with a spectacular show under the night sky. As New World played, a stunning 30 second firework display lit up the stage, leading to a breathtaking 90 second firework finale. The seven story high main stage featured a 3D spiral structure, layered with sound, lights, lasers, and visuals, immersing fans in Accusefive's universe. Taking two months, they recreated Quan Qing’s grandpa’s fishing boat, Shun De Hao, steered by the band's mascot Accuse Pig, circled the whole stadium to engage with fans up close.
