Enjoei Headquarter Office

Silver A' Design Award Winner 2025

This interior photograph presents a contemporary office space designed by Nara Grossi, captured in landscape format with warm, inviting illumination throughout. Beginning at the center foreground, a large circular area rug commands attention, approximately eight feet in diameter, featuring a cream background adorned with stylized floral and botanical motifs in burnt orange like autumn leaves, sage green like dried herbs, dusty violet like faded lavender, and touches of deep purple. Arranged upon this rug sits a curved modular sofa in warm taupe, reminiscent of soft doeskin, with distinctive scalloped semi-circular cushions along its back creating a wavelike silhouette. To the left of the sofa, two accent chairs with gleaming chrome tubular frames display classic black and white houndstooth upholstery, their texture suggesting tightly woven wool. At the right foreground, a low sculptural chair in vivid cadmium yellow provides a bold accent, its form organic and inviting like a gentle wave. Small wooden side tables and a cluster of low coffee tables in dark wood and glass occupy the rug center, holding decorative ceramic figurines. Moving to the right edge, a large cylindrical column rises from floor to ceiling, its surface covered entirely in small grey mosaic tiles creating a texture like fine pebbles or woven stone. Beyond the lounge area, the middle ground reveals open workspace with white desks and grey ergonomic task chairs arranged in clusters. The ceiling above remains deliberately exposed, showing white-painted ductwork, conduit, and concrete waffle-slab structure bathed in warm amber light like honey-colored sunshine, transforming industrial infrastructure into architectural warmth. In the background, arched doorways with soft cream walls create gentle transitions between spaces. A motion-blurred figure walks past the mosaic column, suggesting active occupation and human scale within this thoughtfully designed environment.

Enjoei by Gema Arquitetura is a workplace in Oscar Niemeyer's Copan building in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Occupying an area of 2.100 m2, the design concept was structured with three goals in mind: sustainability, accessibility and a sense of belonging. The project focused on understanding scales, bringing contrast between materials and creating a fluid environment where each element connects. Designed for people, the space is calm, quiet and futuristic. Results speak for themselves: with most people coming from home offices everywhere, the team now is upbeat working in this space every day.
